PUB-BENCH-001 · 2026-09-12-beta selects one published range by the height band you choose: under 30 ft, $200–$500; 30 to under 60 ft, $500–$1,500; and 60–80 ft, $850–$2,000. The source table was displayed by HomeGuide on February 4, 2026 and must be rechecked before release.

It is a broad national published-guide reference with low evidence strength. It is not calibrated to a location, does not inspect the site, and does not prove what every source price includes. TreeQuoteCheck does not average competitor outputs or add hidden regional, species, access, condition, emergency, stump, or hauling multipliers.
When the tool withdraws a number
Reported utility-line, structure-supported, or storm/emergency conditions stop the price output. Multiple trees, palm or fallen trees, over-80-ft trees, reported damage, restricted access, close building proximity, or special equipment also require an on-site assessment. Unknown essential answers remain unknown.
Model updates
A professional-evidence replacement will receive a new model version and regression tests. The methodology change will be dated; old results will not be silently relabeled as if they came from the new model.

Why does only height change the Beta range?
The approved temporary model is a transparent lookup from one published table. Other factors are not assigned unsupported multipliers.
How confident is the range?
Low. It is a broad published reference and is not calibrated to your location or job.
Will the model change?
Yes, if stronger evidence supports a replacement. Any material change will use a new version and dated methodology note.
